Dear young trans lesbians,

Just sos you know, there have been trans lesbians since forever – in fact a large portion, maybe even a majority, of trans discourse (and queer discourse on trans people) since the 1970s has revolved around trans lesbians due to the radical feminist responses to them (see: Olivia Records, Sandy Stone’s The Empire Strikes Back, Transsexual Empire, Beth Elliott and the Daughters of Bilitis, MichFest and Camp Trans et al.). There was a radical trans lesbian experimental film that discussed (in slightly different language) almost exactly the politics a lot of y'all are talking about today called Gender Troublemakers made in 1993 by then-girlfriends Mirha-Soleil Ross (as Jeanne B.) and the late Xanthra MacKay. The two of them also produced a trans punk zine called Gendertrash From Hell around the same time, some issues of which are available online. There’s a whole bunch of trans lez literature out there (poetry by Trish Salah comes to mind, and of course Nevada by Imogen Binnie). Sylvia Rivera herself, patron saint of the trans movement, may not have identified as a lesbian but was in a relationship with a woman.

I saw someone post today that they didn’t even know trans lesbians were a thing except very recently, and I guess that’s a failure on the part of those from my generation and above who haven’t passed down enough history. So here’s some history for you.

There’s also Carol Riddell who was active in radical feminist organizing in Britain in the 1970′s

AU THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E - University

→ Illya is a Russian student training for rowing at an American University. Napolean is working on his masters in art history. They’re both late to class one day where they have to convince the new girl in their class - Gaby, the German engineer major studying abroad, - to join their group. Hi-jinks ensue. Napolean seems more focused on entertaining his numerous lady friends, which drives Illya crazy because he needs to do well to stay on the varsity rowing team.Thankfully, Gaby has a cool head on her shoulders and manages to keep the group on track. Begrudgingly, the boys seem to start enjoying the time they spend together and the trio starts hanging out at the university pub together in their free time.

“This is not how we do group projects in Russia, Cowboy.”
“Kuryakin, I do not have the time, nor the crayons, to explain this to you right now.”

If Bernie loses the primaries: YOU STILL MUST VOTE

Tumblr’s become so attached to Bernie that I’m not sure y’all are still gonna vote in the election if he loses. I will vote for him, I know most of you might too, but we must still be prepared for something like that :/

I know it would mean that you will have lost the one candidate you believed in the most. I know it will possibly mean voting for Hillary over the Republicans, when all of you don’t like her that much, I understand, believe me.

BUT HERE’S WHY YOU STILL VOTE:

1. Because are you going to give the Republicans a greater chance of victory?

I know it seems like HRC and the Republicans are one in the same to most of you, but if both HRC and the GOP REALLY dislike each other? You can tell that’s not exactly true. Granted when compared to Bernie, Hillary seems conservative, but Bernie’s super liberal where Clinton reflects most of the party, center-left, like Obama. She’s not the progressive you all want, but she sure as hell ain’t conservative. Bernie has positive things to say about Hillary, and, let’s face it, she is still a better choice than any GOP candidate.

2. Not voting means you are still deciding who has a better chance of winning in the election, don’t be fooled.

Don’t think that Bernie not winning the Dem nomination means that there is no hope at all for change and that voting for any Democrat is useless, if you don’t vote, you give the Republicans a greater chance of winning, just like I said above.  And you know what? Good. Because that’s exactly what they want.
Why would they want young people voting if it means they might vote Democrat? Think about that hard.

3. BECAUSE BERNIE WANTS YOU TO.

Seriously, he released a whole video on how “elites want big money to dominate the political process” and this:

And he KNOWS they don’t want that. You will not be making a positive change if you don’t vote, hence he is saying you will make the problem worse, if you avoid voting.

This is not only for this election. It is 2016 and beyond. Don’t forget that, please.

True of any election favorite, guys. Not voting means you are literally giving up your say in how shit goes down.

In 2009, the attorney general for the island state of Tasmania stated that Australian wallabies had been found creating crop circles in fields of opium poppies, which are grown legally for medicinal use, after consuming some of the opiate-laden poppies and running in circles

In case anyone is wondering, here is what said crop circles look like.

Of all potential Crop Circle explanations, I don’t thing *anyone* saw “stoned wallabies” as a candidate, let alone the likely suspect.

I am onboard for this.

Shut up it’s awesome.
